What is MAC ADDRESS ?

Usually, you see the MAC Address on the Back side of your Router, Modem etc. They were in a PAIR of 2 – 2 Digits / Alphabets and also they were generally written in a THREE Formats. and it Usually Conatins the SIX ( 6 ) Outlets.

The First Three Digits present in the Yellow Box are Known as the OUI ( Organization Unique Identifier ) which helps us to Identify the manufacturer of the Product and The next Three Digits which are Present in the Blue Box are known as the NIC ( Network Interface Controller ) / ( Network Interface Card ) which helps us to control all the wired as well as wireless connection of a Computer which helps us to exchange the information from one computer to another by the use to internet.

NOW, I WILL TELL YOU THAT HOW YOU CAN SPOOF / CHANGE YOUR MAC ADDRESS
1. First you need to OPEN your Terminal and Type your First Command ( ifconfig “wlan0” or “eth0” ) to see that what is your Default MAC Address.So, I am using an ethernet connection that’s why I am using “eth0”. Now I will show you that how can I Change my eth0 MAC Address.
2.Now comes to the Second Command you have to write ( ” ifconfig eth0 down” ) and then hit Enter.
3.Now comes to the Third Command ( ” ifconfig eth0 aa:bb:cc:dd:ee:ff ” ) where “aa:bb:cc:dd:ee:ff ” is your New MAC Address you can change it Randomly that you want in your Device.
4.At Last comes to The Last Command this is your Last Command for Changing your MAC Address that is ( ” ifconfig eth0 up” )
